About Me

I was born in Cali, Colombia and moved to Canada in 2008. I have been drawing and painting since I can remember, and developed a deep appreciation for the social sciences throughout my life. I believe design is the perfect intersect between understanding human behaviour, emerging technologies and aesthetics. My priority is de-centering myself as a designer and truly understanding the user's needs through data analysis, interviewing and co-creation. This is why I have I sought to put a heavy emphasis in design research within my work. 

As went throughout my design degree I found myself increasingly interested in human behaviour within digital environments and I am developing my knowledge in HCI, UI and UX.

My other interests include painting, drawing, reading, yoga, running, philosophy, and sewing. I have a curious mind so I am always open to learning new skills!
