About Me

I was born in Cali, Colombia and moved to Canada in 2008. I have been drawing and painting since I can remember, and developed a deep appreciation for the social sciences throughout my life. I believe design is the perfect intersect between understanding human behaviour, emerging technologies and aesthetics. My priority is de-centering myself as a designer and truly understanding the user's needs through data analysis, interviewing and co-creation. This is why I have I sought to put a heavy emphasis in design research within my work. 

As I have progressed throughout my degree I have found myself increasingly interested in human behaviour within digital environments and would like to develop my knowledge in HCI, UI and UX.

My other interests include painting, drawing, reading, yoga, philosophy, and sewing. I have a curious mind so I am always open to learning new skills!
